Bokeh Stories [beta] is a mobile app assisting users in a self-guided “Journey into clarity,” to gain understanding about what has previously been out of awareness.
Download the app on Google Play or the App Store.
Bokeh comes from the Japanese word boke (暈け or ボケ), which means “blur” or “haze”, or boke-aji (ボケ味), the “blur quality.” Bokeh is defined in photography as “the way the lens renders out-of-focus points of light.”Our perceptions as humans, like the bokeh effect, are always constrained by context and our ability to focus. We rarely see and understand the whole of something all at once. The app helps make feelings and events that feel painful, confusing, shut down and fuzzy, more concrete.
